This event shines a spotlight on the top 25 market livestock youth exhibitors as they proudly showcase their exceptional animals in the sale ring. These talented young individuals are recognized for their hard work and dedication as they walk the most impressive cattle, hogs, lambs and goats you’ve ever seen around the sales ring. Join in the excitement as bidders—whether individuals, businesses, or groups—raise their paddles high to contribute to these young people’s success.

Bidders don’t purchase the animals outright. Instead, their contributions are premium dollars paid directly to the exhibitors, going above the market price to reward their commitment and effort.

By participating in the Sale of Champions, you show your support for agriculture and invest in its future. In 2024, youth exhibitors received over $107,000 in premium payouts—proof of the community’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders. This success motivates these talented individuals to return to the Sioux Empire Livestock Show as well as pursue careers in agriculture. Your business can play a vital role their success.

If $2,500 or more is given towards the Sale of Champions as a youth premium, you/your business will be added to the Sale of Champions Wall of Fame, which is displayed throughout the duration of the Show, as well as on the website year-round.
