Fischer, Rounds & Associates has adopted the Acrisure brand as of April 1, 2024. The agency, which has served South Dakota for more than a century, partnered with Acrisure several years ago in pursuit of a vision to transform the insurance brokerage business for the betterment of clients.

Fischer, Rounds & Associates joins other Acrisure partner agencies in the Midwest Region to come together and operate under a single brand. Acrisure is a top-10 global insurance broker and fintech leader. Acrisure Partners in the Midwest Region will be better positioned to provide a greater range of products and services by operating under the Acrisure brand.

Effective February 1, McKinneyOlson Insurance joined North Risk Partners, one of the largest independent insurance brokers and risk advisory firms in the Midwest.

McKinneyOlson Insurance has served clients in the Sioux Falls area since the 1880’s. The firm has been under current ownership since 2008 when McKinney & Allen, Inc. and The Olson Group merged. In 2019, McKinneyOlson Insurance further expanded operations with the acquisition of The Insurance Connection.

With this new partnership, 26 McKinneyOlson team members have joined North Risk Partners. Preceding owners, Amy Olson-Miller and Steve Tripp both joined North Risk’s equity partnership group with Olson-Miller taking on a leadership role as North Risk’s West Region President.

North Risk Partners – McKinneyOlson Insurance clients now have access to North Risk’s wide array of capabilities and insurance companies in the areas of commercial insurance, employee benefits and personal insurance. Additionally, clients who are employers will now have access to the firm’s value-added services in the areas of human resources, health and safety and more.
