The Agribusiness Pillar of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special Ag Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, August 11th in conjunction with the 82nd annual Sioux Empire Fair. Lunch will be served, and we plan to have entertainment you will not want to miss! The Agribusiness Division’s mission is to celebrate our area agriculturalists and recognize the crucial role of the agriculture industry.
We need assistance to ensure the occasion goes off without a hitch. We are asking you to help make this happen! The luncheon is free to farm families who are available to attend. We expect to host an estimated 2,000 people and your support of dollars, and perhaps the volunteer time of your employees that day, will be crucial in making this a successful salute to agriculture.
A list of all sponsors will be displayed for the attendees of the event. All sponsors will be recognized in Chamber News and Tri-State Neighbor “thank-you” ads by level. With a minimum sponsorship of $200 (Cultivator), you may have up to three volunteers help serve the meal. Sponsor levels lower than Cultivator are available (scroll to the bottom of the page to see these levels). Sponsorship levels higher than Cultivator come with additional day-of incentives, which are included below:
- Planter – $500 – provide banner to be displayed at event; and up to five volunteers assigned to shift day of event
- Grower – $750 – mentioned throughout the event program by emcee and band every thirty minutes; provide banner to be displayed at event; and up to five volunteers assigned to shift day of event
- Harvester – $900 – mentioned throughout the event program by emcee and band every thirty minutes; provide banner to be displayed at event; and up to five volunteers assigned to shift day of event; one table (6 attendees) invitation to Chamber Annual Ag Awards Banquet (traditionally held during the Springtime annually)
