Description
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) includes a range of requirements for private businesses in terms of how they interact with their employees and patrons. Sharla Svennes, assistant city attorney for the City of Sioux Falls, will present an overview of the ADA requirements, including which private businesses are covered by ADA, general standards used to determine ADA compliance and the areas where ADA concerns most frequently arise for businesses.
