Since 1954, the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce has been sponsoring one of the best livestock shows in the upper Midwest. Over the years, the show has grown to include the best market and purebred livestock from across the country, as well as the latest in agricultural commercial exhibits.
The Sioux Empire Livestock Show promotes and celebrates agriculture through an annual, authentic experience that educates and entertains the community; assists youth exhibitors financially with academic endeavors; and generates economic impact through national livestock consignments and trade show opportunities.
