Farm Family of the Year Nominating Form

The Farm Family of the Year award recognizes a family that exemplifies leadership, service and impact within agriculture while helping strengthen the connection between agriculture and the Greater Sioux Falls community.

Nomination Criteria
• The nominee must be actively involved in a farming or ranching operation connected to the Greater Sioux Falls region.
• The nominee should demonstrate meaningful contributions to agriculture beyond their own operation. This may include education, mentorship, youth involvement, advocacy or efforts to increase understanding of agriculture within the community.
• The nominee should play a role in connecting agriculture to the broader community, helping bridge the gap between agricultural producers and non-ag audiences, businesses or organizations.
• The nominee should reflect the Chamber’s core values of community, connection, collaboration, vision and service through their actions, leadership and involvement.
• The nominee should represent agriculture as a vital contributor to the region’s economy and quality of life.
