What is your biggest priority for the 2025 South Dakota Legislative Session?

Thank you for the question. As most of you know, this year we will start with new leadership due to term limits and recent elections. With those changes, naturally anxiety about how the new leaders will make committees and agendas follows. Due to the fact the leadership elections were very close, I think my biggest priority needs to be that my district is well represented by being a good team player and being a good co-worker to my fellow legislators. Working with new legislators and sharing experiences or knowledge when appropriate will hopefully make us successful as a body for not only District 2, but South Dakota. Once we get our “sea legs” under us, hopefully we get pro-business, common sense legislation passed.
