Vision Sioux Falls Award Nominations 2026
The Vision Sioux Falls Award honors individuals who work behind the scenes to bring a company or community vision to life. These unsung heroes play a crucial role in shaping progress and fostering meaningful impact across greater Sioux Falls.
This annual award is presented by the Chamber’s Visionary members to intentionally recognize people whose dedication, leadership and innovation often go unnoticed, yet are essential to business and community success.
Submission deadline: July 20 at noon
Who It Celebrates
The award celebrates individuals who are:
• Quiet leaders and changemakers
• Advancing meaningful progress within their organization, industry or community
• Strengthening greater Sioux Falls but may not necessarily be publicly visible or widely recognized
• From any industry or walk of life, reflecting the diversity and strength of our region.
Call for Recipients
Visionary members are encouraged to thoughtfully identify and recognize an individual who exemplifies behind-the-scenes leadership and meaningful impact. Nominees do not need to be employed by or affiliated with the Visionary member submitting the nomination. Visionary members are encouraged to consider deserving individuals from throughout the greater Sioux Falls community. When considering a recipient, Visionary members should ask:
• Who helps move important work forward without expecting recognition?
• Who consistently leads, innovates or supports others in ways that improve outcomes?
• Who makes Sioux Falls stronger through their everyday work?
Eligibility & Recipient Requirements
To be eligible for the Vision Sioux Falls Award, a recipient must:
• Be an individual (not an organization or group) actively involved in supporting or implementing a vision that benefits a company, an organization, an industry or the greater Sioux Falls community at large.
• Demonstrate dedication, leadership and innovation in their role, even if they are not in the spotlight
• Reflect the Chamber’s values of community, service, collaboration, vision and connection.
