Young Professionals Week to be held April 21-24

Young Professionals Week 

What if you had an entire week dedicated to helping you grow your career, expand your network and have some fun along the way? That’s exactly what the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Network (YPN) is bringing to life this April with its inaugural Young Professionals Week, running from April 21-24, 2025. More than just a collection of events, this week is a celebration—a chance for young professionals to connect, learn and make their mark on the Sioux Falls community.

The week kicks off at Startup Sioux Falls, where young professionals will gather to hear from community leaders as they share insights on leadership, community engagement, and the future of Sioux Falls. This event sets the stage for the week, inspiring attendees to embrace new opportunities and maximize their potential.

On Tuesday, Bags & BBQ, sponsored and hosted by Reliabank, offers a relaxed networking experience. Attendees can enjoy a meal, participate in a friendly cornhole competition and connect with fellow young professionals in a casual setting. This event is a great opportunity to introduce friends and colleagues to YPN while strengthening existing relationships.

Midweek, participants will take part in the Downtown Scavenger Hunt, a dynamic way to explore the heart of Sioux Falls while fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. This interactive event encourages attendees to uncover unique history about our city, engage with local Chamber member businesses and gain a fresh perspective on the downtown area.

Finally, the week culminates in a major celebration—YPN’s Sweet 16 Birthday Bash, sponsored by First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard. This milestone event highlights the growth and impact of YPN over the past 16 years. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, networking and exciting door prizes while reflecting on their professional journeys and looking ahead to future opportunities within the YPN community.

At the end of the week, tickets will go on sale for the much-anticipated Crossroads Summit, which will take place August 21 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
