Volunteers to recruit new members through Spring Drive
Spring is in full swing, and what better time to join the vibrant community of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce? With nearly 2,000 members ranging from home-based enterprises to large corporations, there’s a place for everyone to thrive and connect.
The annual Spring Membership Drive kicks off April 24 and we want you to be a part of the excitement! The enthusiastic members of the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee are rallying volunteers to come together and tell others about the benefits of Chamber membership.
This year’s drive theme harnesses the spirit of the Grammy Awards, urging everyone to get their band together and jam for the Chamber. For volunteers participating in the drive, this means forming teams and working in harmony to recruit new members to the Chamber.
Ambassador Committee Chair Jennifer Hoesing, Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons, is excited to get started. “During the Membership Drive, our efforts are turned up and loud. It’s energizing to have so many people participate and want to share the value of Chamber membership with others,” she said.
Over 50 volunteers are ready to go on tour for the Chamber and will compete for the top award. The top-selling Ambassador will snag six tickets to see Grammy Award winner Tim McGraw at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on June 6, courtesy of Fiegen Construction.
Monica Huether, Peska Construction, is serving as volunteer chair of the Membership Drive. She said anyone can participate in the Drive simply by sharing referrals with volunteers. “If you know a business that could benefit from Chamber membership, don’t hesitate to sing our praises! Whether it’s your client, contractor, mechanic, financial advisor, or the local eatery you adore…we’re eager to connect with them during the Spring Membership Drive.”
Huether added, “The drive encourages everyone to get in the band. Volunteers get engaged to share the value of Chamber membership, and businesses join as members to support the Chamber’s work and role in our thriving community.”
So, let’s crank it up this Spring for the Chamber! Join us in celebrating community, connection and growth as we welcome new members to the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce.
